Hari Malaysia

'Hari Malaysia' falls on the 16th of September, however this year it was celebrated together with Malaysia's Independence day. The Independence day is usually celebrated on 31st August every year, but this year to respect the month of Ramadhan, it was postponed to the 16th of September.

My sister and I went to Pavillion to watch a movie. There were a lot of people queuing for tickets as it was a public holiday. We then went to Tony Roma's for dinner and had their ribs. Alhamdulillah.

Summer Holiday Trip

New semester is starting tomorrow. I feel a bit nervous as I've not been doing anything 'educational' these past few months. Anyhow, I had an enjoyable summer holiday. Alhamdulillah.

We went to Singapore and Kuantan during the summer. I really wanted to go to Universal Studios in Singapore. So we actually went to Singapore early July, when I've just started my holiday. We were able to eat delicious murtabak with chicken kurma, Padang food and many other delicious food that we cannot find in KL. We drive around Singapore and went to Marina Bay Sands, Sentosa Island and aorund the city.

We had a lot of fun at Universal Studios Singapore(USS) as well. Alhamdulillah. We went around 10am to collect the tickets. The tickets cost around $SD70 each. We didn't get to go on all the rides as queuing up for one ride took roughly around 1 hour. We were so tired of standing up all day, but we had fun. The mummy, battlestar galactica, and the jurassic park ride were a few of the most enjoyable rides.

As classes were going to start soon, we went to Hyatt Kuantan in Pahang. The scenery is so beautiful. Masya-Allah. The clean blue beach, clear blue sky and white clouds, as well as the hospitality of the staffs of Hyatt Kuantan made us come back for the second time to Teluk Chempedak.
